State Fair was a success on many levels. Hattie made it into the ring to show Cloey and win 2 blue ribbons. Addison did an outstanding job showing her big heifer, Blessing, who was not cooperating. Blessing stood 3 out of 6 respectively in a nice class of junior yearlings.
Dad is pretty handy to have around fixing everything so it's just right before girls go into the show ring.
Addison took Carl in and took 1st place and division champion which meant they would make their appearance in the Grand Drive against the big bulls. Olivia was bummed she couldn't show, but she made sure to stay in on the action. Thanks to all of those that helped with kids, cattle, or preserving my sanity!
Blessing worked great for Addison in the ring.
Bertsches were kind enough to let us fit in their barn. Olivia made herself right at home.
Our first time at the Ford County Fair was a success. Addison brought home Reserve Hereford Heifer and Reserve Hereford Steer in the Junior show yesterday. Today Hattie was able to take a turn in the Show ring with Ben. Hattie brought home a second with Ben in the open and Addison a second as well. Olivia, well she was there to see the bunnies and play in the water.
Addison had Reserve Hereford Heifer and Reserve Hereford Steer
Big sister teaching sisters, Olivia and Hattie the way to do it right!
